The PC-FX pushed it's anime-playing angle heavily, especially with the "Anime Freak FX" lineup of videogame magazines, which was a promotional piece for current animes, seiyuu and J-idols.
It'd also have it's own self-contained anime every now and then.
This particular anime is based on the Private eye dol (プライベートアイドル) game which previously came out on the PC-Engine SCD. It was originally distributed in three 15-minute installments among the Anime Freak FX volumes.
