[NGC] 大乱闘スマッシュブラザーズDX 実演よ (スマブラのみ) | Dairantou Smash Brothers DX Jitsuen-you Demo (Smash Only)
I decided to try straining my setup more and using Dolphin.
This is the Smash Bros. Melee Store Demo released on demoban.

I also sought out the "Taikenban" (体験版) version redump had but what I downloaded seemed to be the same content-wise . Though maybe it would work better in emulation... this video is actually cobbled from multiple takes because of game crashes. In fact, a crash would consistently happen playing the TV ads, so I could not record those!
As described, the demo allows a 2-minuted timed VS. match and goes up to Zebes in Adventure Mode. Probably the most interesting thing about the demo is really how the modes are separated in demo menus, rather than Smash menus. I do not see any differences although it is possible there are bugs. (I somehow crashed the game trying a run with Ice Climbers, in a manner that spewed out loads of error messages, too - different from the typical freeze that would just occur suddenly.)
The Demo also has some Pikmin content, but I heard that was also available on another demo disc I am downloading so I'll check that later.
The promotional video included in the demo, which has some bits of early game footage, will be uploaded separately.
