I always wanted to try digging more into MAME protos and samples but because trying to look for information on them on the internet is difficult I have trouble figuring out what ones are worth looking into. Thankfully this Alpha 3 sample is at least different from the regular version in some obvious ways, so I'm starting with this.
The most obvious difference is the shortened single-player arcade mode - less opponents, no story cutscenes, no mandatory opponents, and no Final Bison.
