[Gamecube] スーパーマリオサンシャイン (月刊任天堂店頭デモ 2002/7/10) | Super Mario Sunshine Demo (Gekkan Nintendo)
This particular Gekkan Nintendo demo disc is all Super Mario Sunshine stuff, more or less. Unfortunately, I am having trouble with the video files in Dolphin. ( That's a pattern, considering it seems to happen conveniently to EVERY video file which is about Super Mario Sunshine...)
Therefore, this video just shows the demo gameplay.
This demo is split into 6 parts. (Well, technically 5, since 2 is kinda more like skipping a segment of 1.)
Each part showcases some slightly different points of the open-world gameplay.
Demo 1 and 2 are from Bianca Hills. The first one lets you explore the world and you can go up to the Piranha Plant boss, which basically is what demo 2 is.
Demo 3 is Ricco Harbor and lets you do the "Gooper Blooper Breaks Out" mission.
Demo 4 and 5 are Gelato Beach, and feature the missions, "Mirror Madness! Tilt, Slam, Bam!" and "Wiggler Ahoy! Full Steam Ahead!"
Demo 6 takes you straight to a FLUDD-less obstacle course from "The Hillside Cave Secret" in Bianco Hills.
