Ads from the connect.remonetized.org ad server are now on a CPM (Cost Per Mille, ie set cost per thousand impressions) basis, rather than CPC (Cost Per Click). This is fairer for all users, as one user with 1k views may get 2 clicks, and a user with 10 viewers may get 5 clicks. It also prevents fraud clicks.

The CPM rates are the same for all users, regardless of subscriptions, which we believe is fairer to users. Some sites pay a higher rate to those with more subscribers and views, who are already earning more money. We will maintain a flat rate of CPM, the only differences being advertisers may favor specific keywords and locations and offer a higher rate based on those factors. The minimum rate of CPM is $1, keeping us competetive with other platforms, but also profitable for the users. As we bring in more advertisers, they can bid higher rates for specific targetted keywords and locations.
